This feature is planned for training release on 27th September 2025.

As a brand collecting supplier data for EUDR compliance, your supplier can now upload GeoJSON files. The enhanced data collection templates now support flexible geolocation input formats, helping you capture accurate farm and site location data more efficiently. Also, the system now supports the latest EU TRACES schema, includes relaxed validation for select fields, and enables you to approve flagged entries without blocking submissions. These changes also ensure downstream compatibility with DDS generation and deforestation risk checks.

As a supplier, you can upload .geojson files or manually enter coordinates to submit farm-level production location data. The updated templates support both input types with built-in validations for coordinate accuracy, polygon structure, and harvest dates. You can also add or replace multiple plots as needed, and continue using familiar formats during the transition.

The following are the key updates:

  • Improved GeoJSON Upload Experience: Suppliers can upload valid .geojson files or manually add plot coordinates. The system supports multiple plots with edit and replace options, and validations ensure correct format, harvest dates, and polygon structure.
  • Updated EUDR Data Configuration: Data collection forms at the PO and Shipment levels now follow the latest EUDR standards. Fields like Farm Name and Address have been removed to reduce duplication, while Country of Production is now a required field selected from the official TRACES list.
  • Relaxed Field Validations with Brand Control: Several fields, such as Shipment Reference, Producer Email ID, and Activity Name, are now optional. Scenarios like duplicate references or missing cattle activity are flagged as warnings instead of blocking submission. Brands can review and approve these entries as part of their compliance checks instead of blocking the submission.
  • Enhanced Template Support Across Submission Levels: Supplier Location, PO-level, and Shipment-level templates now include standardized fields such as Country of Production, Geolocation Type, and Production Place Description. Field-level validations improve data consistency and reduce upload errors.

Key Benefits

  • Easier Geolocation Input: Uploading or editing location data is now faster and more flexible, whether using GeoJSON or coordinate pairs.
  • Reduced Submission Friction: Fewer mandatory fields and relaxed error handling allow suppliers to complete submissions with less manual effort.
  • Stronger Brand Oversight: Brands can still review and approve flagged issues, ensuring compliance while keeping workflows moving.
  • Alignment with TRACES and DDS: All data fields and validations are designed to meet EU TRACES expectations and deforestation risk assessments.
  • Improved Data Quality: Validations and structured templates reduce errors and improve traceability at the plot and production level.

This update helps both brands and suppliers collaborate more effectively in meeting EUDR compliance while improving data accuracy and submission efficiency.
