This feature is planned for training release on 27th September 2025.
As a brand monitoring EUDR compliance, you now have access to the upgraded OpenAtlas deforestation risk report directly within the Risk View interface. This enhancement is a more detailed version, offering deeper insight into farm-level environmental risk.
The OpenAtlas report now includes multi-year satellite imagery, deforestation overlays, and intersections with Protected Areas and Indigenous Peoples' lands. These improvements help users better evaluate environmental risk and alignment with EUDR requirements.
Risk reports are now embedded across the EUDR Compliance Report, DDS Generator (Farm Deforestation Risk), and Deforestation Risk Status pop-ups. Brands can access the full report from any relevant farm-level view. In addition, two new columns have been added for each plot. Additionally, two new columns namely Protected Areas Overlap Status and Indigenous Peoples Overlap Status, have been added for each plot to provide a clearer risk summary.
Key Benefits
- Deeper Risk Insights: Analyze farm-level overlaps with protected areas and Indigenous Peoples' lands for a more complete risk profile.
- Improved Transparency: Visualize forest change using multi-year satellite imagery and deforestation overlays.
- Interactive Experience: Explore environmental risk data in a map-based interface with pan and zoom capabilities.
- Compliance Alignment: Strengthens EUDR due diligence by embedding rich, geo-referenced datasets directly into the compliance workflow.
- Plot-Level Accuracy: View precise risk data per farm or plot, with clear NA values shown when data does not apply (such as for GeoJSON uploads).
This update gives users greater clarity and control over deforestation risk monitoring, supporting better decisions and more confident EUDR reporting.
