As a brand, you can now enable data sharing across your direct suppliers for upstream supplier and facility information during supply chain declaration. This enhancement enables the direct supplier to reuse existing information while maintaining data privacy and control.

When enabled through company settings, direct suppliers can view and select upstream supplier and facility details that have already been declared by other direct suppliers working with the same brand. However, they will not be able to see who submitted the details originally, ensuring privacy is preserved.

For example, Supplier A can view and select upstream supplier or facility details that were originally declared by Supplier B, Supplier C, or others. However, Supplier A will not see who submitted the details.

Suppliers have read-only access to this shared data, which can be reused in their own SCM responses, but they cannot modify the data. This ensures consistency and reduces duplicate data entry efforts across the supplier base.

Key Benefits

  • Data Reusability: Reusing the existing data prevents the user from creating duplicate entries
  • Data Consistency: Shared supplier and facility details help maintain uniformity in SCM submissions.
  • Privacy Protected: Suppliers cannot identify the source of shared data, preserving confidentiality.
  • Brand-Controlled Access: Only brands can enable or disable this feature, offering flexibility based on business needs.

This update enhances collaboration across supplier networks while preserving data integrity and control. It enables brands to accelerate supply chain mapping and ensures consistency in upstream declarations without compromising supplier privacy.
