As a supplier already using Supply Chain Mapping (SCM), you can now reuse the same details when filling out declarations in EUDR. This reduces the need to re-enter information and ensures consistency across modules.
When you begin entering details in an EUDR declaration, the platform displays a dropdown list with matching entries from your existing SCM records. This applies to fields like Supplier Name, Supplier Email ID, Farm Name, Farm Address, and Farm Location. You can simply select the relevant entry from the list to autofill the field. If no matching data is found, you can continue by entering the information manually. The reused data is read-only, so any updates made in EUDR will not affect your original SCM records.
Key Benefits for Brands:
- Improved Data Integrity: Encourages suppliers to reuse structured, brand-approved data, reducing errors in names and addresses.
- Faster Regulatory Reporting: Using existing farm-level details from SCM makes EUDR traceability reporting quicker and easier.
- Connected Platform Experience: Data flows smoothly between modules, creating a consistent experience and reducing the need for extra training or support.
Key Benefits for Suppliers:
- Zero Re-typing: Reuse SCM data with a single click and save time when completing EUDR declarations.
- Consistent Information: Avoid mistakes, keep supplier and farm details identical across SCM and EUDR.
- Simplified Compliance Workflow: Enter key data once in SCM and reuse it wherever needed for regulatory completeness.
- Future-Proof Foundation: Lays the foundation for expanding autofill across more areas of the platform, without affecting your original data.
This enhancement is designed to support suppliers who use both SCM and EUDR by making the data entry process more efficient. Reusing existing SCM data in EUDR saves time, reduces manual effort, and ensures consistency and accuracy across both modules.
