As a Brand, you can now control whether a supplier can change a Supply Chain Mapping response. Lock a response once you are satisfied with it, so it stays as you reviewed it. Locking is optional, and you decide when to lock.

As a Supplier, you can now request changes to a response that the brand has locked.

Key Features for Brands

  • Lock a response once you are satisfied with it. This is available for responses with a status of Completed, Completed Delayed, Partially Completed, or Partially Completed Delayed. Locking hides supplier editing and makes the tree read only.
  • Approve the edit request raised by your supplier to unlock the response, or reject it with a reason, directly from the review screen.
  • Unlock a response at any time if changes are needed.
  • Track every action on a response, including locks, unlocks, revision requests, and edit request decisions, in a history log visible to both you and your supplier.

Key Features for Suppliers

  • Raise an edit request to update the details when your response is locked.
  • Track the brand's decision on your edit request in your Pending Tasks and Ongoing Tasks, along with the action expected from you next.
  • View the history log of every action on a response, including locks, unlocks, revision requests, and edit request decisions.

Key Benefits for Brands

  • Control Over Supplier Changes: A reviewed response cannot be changed by the supplier unless you allow it.
  • Controlled Edit Requests: Approve or reject each edit request with a reason, directly from the review screen.
  • Clear Audit Trail: Every action on a response is logged and retained, giving you a complete record of the review process.

Key Benefits for Suppliers

  • Clear Edit Request Status: Your task list shows whether your edit request was approved or rejected, and what to do next.

This update lets brands decide when a supplier response can change, and gives suppliers a clear way to request an edit when a response is locked.
