As a Brand, the Facility UID of a Supplier Created Facility is generated by the platform again and is unique across all Supplier Created Facilities. You can view it in the user interface and reports. Existing Facility UIDs remain unchanged.
Suppliers were earlier allowed to enter their own Facility UID, so they could use IDs that were easy to remember. This led to duplicate and junk IDs across different facilities. The Facility UID is meant to identify a facility uniquely across the platform. To keep it unique, the platform restores to the earlier method of generating the Facility UID automatically.
As a Supplier, the platform automatically generates the Facility UID when you create a facility, and you cannot edit it.
