As a Brand, you can now create and manage your own assessment templates, from structure and scoring to notifications, without depending on TrusTrace to set them up. Self-service configuration covers the full template lifecycle, from creation through ongoing management.
Key Updates
- Create Templates: Set the name, category (SAQ, DDQ, Vendor Evaluation, or Custom), and description. You can save your progress as a draft at any step and continue later.
- Build the Structure: Arrange questions into chapters, sections, and sub-sections, and add help text at every level.
- Excel Upload: Download a ready-made Excel template for your scoring method, fill it in, and upload it. The whole file is checked before anything is imported, and you can review and edit the result before activating it.
- Conditional Logic: Show or hide a question or a whole section based on an earlier answer. Hidden questions do not count toward scoring, progress, or mandatory checks.
- Scoring and Grading: Choose whether to score now, later, or not at all. Select from four methods, Points-based, Points Deduction, Pass/Fail, or Count of Non-Compliances. You can also set section weights, grade levels, thresholds, and a validity period for each grade.
- Non-Conformity Rules: Have non-conformities flagged automatically when a supplier submits, or flagged manually by reviewers. You can set the severity per question, with optional overrides for specific answers.
- Reminders and Notifications: Set reminder schedules and grade-based alerts, and turn individual notification events on or off for each template.
- Template Management: Search, filter, and sort your templates. Duplicate, edit, archive, or version a template. Every version keeps a history of what changed and by whom. Archiving or changing a template does not affect assessments already in progress.
