As a Brand, the Declared Suppliers page now automatically identifies potential duplicate supplier and facility records and groups them into suggestions for your review.

Duplicate suggestions can include multiple records submitted by the same supplier, as well as the same physical facility appearing under different supplier accounts. Suggestions are generated based on attributes such as name, address, city, state, and country, using the configured Duplication Matching Threshold available in Company Settings.

Each suggestion includes a Match Score and a Preferred Record to help you review potential duplicates. The Preferred Record can be a supplier or facility, depending on what is identified as the duplicate.

Importantly, supplier-declared data is never modified or overwritten as part of deduplication. The original declarations remain unchanged. Deduplication provides a cleaner and more consistent view of the supply chain for the Brand, while preserving the data as originally declared by suppliers.

Duplicate detection is recommendation-based only. No records are combined automatically. You can review and combine suggested duplicates or dismiss a suggestion when the records do not represent the same supplier or facility.
