As a Brand, when a supplier's facility is used across multiple value processes or tiers, facility details such as Address, Location can carry forward automatically when the facility is reused. Materials Used, when configured for collection, is captured independently for each value process and tier. You can also configure custom fields to be either facility-specific, so the value carries forward wherever the facility is reused, or value-process-specific, so the field is completed independently for each applicable value process. To change the configuration of custom fields, contact the TrusTrace Support team.
As a Supplier, facility details such as Address, Location continue to carry forward automatically when you reuse a facility. If Materials Used is configured by the Brand, you must select the appropriate materials separately for each value process and tier. For custom fields, some values may carry forward with the facility, while others may need to be provided separately for each applicable value process, depending on your Brand's configuration.

This update ensures that facility-level information remains consistent where appropriate, while Materials Used and other value-process-specific information are captured at the value process and tier level, providing a more accurate representation of how a shared facility is used.
