As a Brand (with admin access), you can now configure email notification settings for Corrective Action Plans (CAP) directly from the Email Notification Settings tab in the Company Settings page. You can enable or disable the notification and select specific user groups or individual users to be notified when a supplier submits a completed CAP response.
The following notification events are available to configure:
- CAP Request Launched: Notified when a CAP request is created and launched to a supplier
- CAP Request Submitted: Notified when a supplier submits their CAP response for brand review
- CAP Request Reshared: Notified when the brand requests a CAPA revision and reshares the CAP back to the supplier
- CAP Request Closed: Notified when a CAP request is closed with all CAPAs complete
- CAP Request Closed (Incomplete): Notified when a CAP request is closed with one or more CAPAs still incomplete
- CAP Send Reminder (Manual): Notified when a reminder is manually triggered for a pending or in-progress CAP request
All email notifications are set to off by default. You must explicitly enable and configure notifications for them to take effect.
Key Benefits for Brands
- Self-Service Configuration: Brand admins can configure CAP notification recipients directly from the Company Settings page, removing the dependency on backend engineering for notification setup.
- Targeted Notifications: Route CAP submission notifications to the right compliance and remediation teams based on user groups or individual users, ensuring timely review and action.
- Controlled Defaults: Notifications are off by default, giving brands full control over who receives alerts and when.
This update enables brands to manage CAP email notifications independently, ensuring the right stakeholders are informed when supplier responses are submitted and reducing delays in the corrective action review process.
