As a brand, you now have greater flexibility and control over your purchase order (PO) management with several new features and enhancements on the PO Management page:
Increased Flexibility:
- Line Item Number: The PO line item number is now available as an optional standard column in the platform. The platform allows brands to use the same PO line item number across multiple entries, without enforcing uniqueness. The field remains blank if no value is provided.
- Delivery Date at Line Item Level: The Delivery Date field has been introduced as an optional field at the PO line item level, in addition to the existing delivery date (made optional) at the PO basic level.
- Unit of Measure (UOM): The UOM field is now optional.
Streamlined Usability:
- Optional Issued Date: The Issued Date column is now available as an optional field in PO basic details.
- Product Type Filtering: A new Product Type column and filter has been added to the PO Management page.
- Linked POs for Improved Supplier Management: Brands adopting a CMT (Cut, Make, Trim) sourcing strategy can now link material POs to the finished product PO. This feature provides full network visibility for the finished product PO, enabling better oversight and management of the supply chain. The PO Details View page now displays linked POs for nominated suppliers that have been uploaded into the system, offering a clear and comprehensive view of the relationships between material and finished product POs.
These enhancements provide you with greater control and flexibility in managing your POs, ultimately improving the efficiency and accuracy of your procurement processes.
