As a Brand, you can now link Tier 1 POs to shipment of raw material POs within the CMT sourcing model. Previously, PO Tracing supported only PO-to-PO linking, which limited visibility when suppliers operated with batch-level identifiers. With this enhancement, suppliers can declare their own Shipment / Batch IDs, and brands can use these identifiers to establish accurate batch-level linkage between Tier 1 and shipment of raw material POs in PO management.

Key Benefits

  • Support for Supplier-Provided Batch IDs: Suppliers can now enter their own Shipment / Batch ID, enabling more accurate identification of the specific batch linked to a raw material PO.
  • Enhanced Batch-Level Traceability: Brands can link Tier 1 POs to shipment of raw material POs using Shipment / Batch ID alongside the PO number, enabling more precise tracking of fabric or material batches within the CMT sourcing workflow.
  • Consistent Data Across UI and Integrations: Shipment / Batch ID is available in reports, ensuring consistent visibility across all downstream systems.
  • Extended Integration Support: API and Excel import now include additional fields to capture Shipment / Batch ID, allowing brands to automate or bulk-upload batch-level linkage.

This enhancement brings batch-level traceability to the CMT sourcing model by enabling brands to link Tier 1 POs to shipment of raw material POs using supplier-declared Shipment / Batch IDs. By expanding support across UI, exports and integrations, the update delivers more accurate and actionable linkage data, helping brands trace materials at a finer level of detail.
