Multi-consignee Transaction Certificates

Suppliers can upload multi-consignee TCs and send shipments to multiple facilities using a single transaction certificate, in line with Textile Exchange standard. Currently, this is enabled as a 2-step process, where your Fabric suppliers record all the lots in the certificate as their inventory and then transfer those lots to different facilities. This solution will be further improved to make it easy for your suppliers to do this activity in a single step (both recording and transferring).

Multi-standard Scope Certificates

As a supplier, you have the capability to upload scope certificates certifying your facilities across multiple standards using a single document, replicating real-world scenarios. For example, suppose you have Facility-A compliant with GRS, Facility-B adhering to OCS, and Facility-C complying with RCS. Using the multi-standard support for the Scope Certificate feature, you can easily upload a single certificate that consolidates and verifies compliance with multiple standards across your diverse facilities.

Capturing the Movement of Style or Material

As a brand, you can now capture the movement of style or material between agents, sub-contractors, and suppliers involved in your supply chain. Transfer has been introduced as a new transaction type to mimic real-world scenarios (e.g., Fabric's movement from a T1 supplier to a T1 Subcontractor).

With this release, you will be able to view the transfer of style or material through the tree view under a Transferred Inbound or an automated Inbound transaction. To understand the validations for the Transfer transaction, refer to the Transactions Validations and Validations Applicable for Each Transaction Type sections in the User Guide.

For example, a fabric supplier can utilize the Transfer feature to record a transaction where the fabric was transferred to a sub-contractor of the garment supplier.

As a supplier, your upstream suppliers can now capture the movement of style or material between your subcontractors, agents, and other suppliers. Transfer has been introduced as a new transaction type to mimic real-world scenarios (for example, the movement of inbound Yarn from a T2 supplier to a T2 Subcontractor).

With this release, your upstream supplier will be able to record the transfer of inbound style or material lot through the Transfer type of transaction. A transferred lot is stored as a transferred inbound lot to the transferred supplier, agent, or subcontractor which can then be used for production or transferred to another facility or to your brand. To understand the validations for the Transfer transaction, refer to the Transactions Validations and Validations Applicable for Each Transaction Type sections in the User Guide.

Note: If the Transfer option is not enabled for your supplier account, they will contact you for assistance.

For example, when a fabric supplier wishes to document a transfer transaction through the user interface, they can employ the Transfer feature. This enables the supplier to record a transaction where the fabric is transferred to a subcontractor associated with the garment supplier.

Also, the transaction's tree view will include Transfer transaction type details if the supplier has recorded a transfer transaction.

Inviting the Upstream Suppliers to the Platform to Record Transactions

As a brand, you now have the capability to receive requests from your suppliers for the addition of sub-contractors. This functionality enables the seamless integration of the requested sub-contractors onto the platform. Consequently, your suppliers and sub-contractors can successfully record the Transfer and Production transactions.

With this release, you can review the supplier addition request listed on the Task Manager page. You can click and review the supplier addition request, and either approve or reject it. Only when you approve the request, the upstream supplier will be invited to the platform to sign up and record transactions.

As a supplier, you can initiate a supplier addition request to your brand, requesting the inclusion of your upstream suppliers on the platform for recording transactions. Your brand can either accept or reject your request. Upon your brand's approval, an invitation will be sent to the upstream supplier, inviting them to sign up for the platform. Post signs up, they can proceed to record transactions.

PO Report

As a brand, you will now be able to view custom fields in this report. You can work with the TrusTrace support team to decide the required custom fields to be configured for displaying in the report.

Suppliers can now view this report, which will ease the experience for the suppliers to quickly see the complete list of POs and identify the ones to work in the platform to fulfil.
