Improvements to Validation Framework
Validation framework is now enhanced for brands to configure the validation behaviors' while recording an inbound transaction using a Transaction Certificate. Below are the list of validations and the behavioral options available to configure.
Validation Code and Name | Logic | Configuration Options Available | Default Setting
Opt out | Block | Approval | Ignore
A.5 - Inbound TC - Buyer | Checking the consistency of the buyer's name in the TC. | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | Block |
A.6 - Inbound TC - Consignee | Checking the consistency of the consignee's name in the TC. | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | Block |
A.7 - Inbound TC - Seller | Checking the consistency of the seller’s name in the TC. | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | Block |
B.5 - Inbound TC - Material Compliance | Checking if the material composition matches between TC and material master data. | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | Block |

Also, the Transaction Certificate validation is now enhanced to verify the Consignee information when Brands buy Fabric directly from their nominated Tier 2 Suppliers (Seller) and send the shipment to Tier 1 (Consignee) to manufacture the Finished Product.
Material Composition validation while producing a Fabric
Platform is now enhanced to capture the actual material composition of the fabric produced (when suppliers record a production transaction), such that brands can compare this with the expected material composition of the fabric (as defined in their PLM) to see any variance. For this release, platform will record the actual material composition, and in future release a report will be made available for brands to do the comparison of actual Vs expected material composition.
Improved Support around automatic extraction of Transaction Certificates
Platform is enhanced to extract additional Transaction Certificates. List of supported certificates are available in “Transactions Certificate Supported” section under “Certified Material Compliance” in the user guide. Below are the new TCs that are supported by the platform for automatic extraction
Certification Body | Certification Standard |
Control Union | RAF |
RDS | |
OCS | |
ICEA | RAF |
RWS | |
RMS | |
USB | OCS |
GOTS |
Also, the extraction engine is enhanced to handle decimal values in Material Composition and to recognize the various units of measurement available under “Number of Units” shipped.
Support for Yarn and Fibre Suppliers to record Transactions
Platform is now enhanced to allow brands to onboard yarn and fibre suppliers to record transactions and tag them to specific T3/T4 level. Brands can also configure workflows to control the information collected at Inbound (either from T3 or from T4) and can also configure validation behavior's specific to those tier levels.
