The Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) feature enhances the security of TrusTrace accounts by requiring users to provide an additional authentication layer beyond their password. This feature utilizes One-Time Passwords (OTPs) sent via email to verify user identity and prevent unauthorized access. As a brand, you decide whether you and your suppliers require the MFA feature. To enable this feature, please reach out to TrusTrace support. When enabled, brand and suppliers will be prompted to enter an OTP sent to their registered email after password login. This provides an additional layer of security, ensuring that sensitive data is better protected.

Key Benefits:

  • Customizable MFA for Enhanced Account Security: Brands can now enable MFA for their own users and suppliers. This adds extra protection to accounts and gives brands control over how MFA is applied.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensures compliance with internal security policies and external standards such as ISO 27001.
  • Improved Trust: Provides brands and suppliers with confidence in the platform’s security, protecting sensitive compliance and supply chain data.

By enabling MFA, brands and suppliers can significantly reduce the risk of unauthorized access, ensuring that only authorized personnel can access sensitive platform features.
