The Second-Party Auditor role, whether part of the brand’s internal team or a second-party auditing firm, is designed to streamline the auditing process. Auditors will have a dedicated interface to manage audit requests, access audit templates, and submit audit findings. These updates enhance the auditing process by improving the ease of viewing, scheduling, and submitting audits based on requests raised by the brand.
Below are the key tasks that can be performed by auditors:
- Access and Review Audit Requests: Auditors can easily view all assigned audit requests, including critical details such as the supplier, facility, and target completion date. This provides a clear overview of the auditor's workload and allows for efficient prioritization and management of tasks.
- Schedule Audits: Based on the target completion date and supplier location, auditors can schedule a convenient time to conduct the audit. This ensures that audits are conducted efficiently and minimizes disruptions to the supplier's operations.
- Download Audit Template: Once the audit is scheduled, auditors can download the audit template, which outlines the specific items to be verified during the on-site audit. The template is designed to be user-friendly and easy to navigate, ensuring that auditors can efficiently collect and document the necessary information.
- Capture Audit Findings[PP1] : Auditors can conduct the on-site audit, filling out the audit template with their findings for each checklist item. This process involves careful observation, questioning, and documentation of the supplier's operations and practices.
- Upload Audit Data[PP2] : After completing the on-site audit, auditors can upload the completed audit template, general evidence, and any supporting evidence related to the identified non-conformities to the platform. This centralized repository ensures that all relevant information is easily accessible and can be shared with stakeholders as needed.
- Submit Audit Request: Once all audit data has been uploaded, auditors can submit the completed audit request. This action triggers the review and analysis of the audit findings by the brand.
These functionalities improve the audit workflow for auditors, allowing for more efficient scheduling, data entry, and submission of audit results, while ensuring that brands receive detailed and accurate information.
