As a brand, you now have the option to determine whether your suppliers (Tier 2 and above) should record Production Transactions for a material, even if you don’t have the information of that material being produced. This flexibility offers greater control over traceability levels within your supply chain.
For example, if you currently track Styles and Materials up to Tier 2 but wishes to extend traceability to Tier 3, you can now set Master Data Linking for Production Transactions at Tier 3 to Inactive. This allows Tier 3 suppliers to record Production and Outbound Transactions without requiring Master Data.
Note: This feature is currently available upon request. Please contact the TrusTrace Support to enable this option. Additionally, validations that typically require Master Data will not be applicable for Production Transactions recorded without Master Data.
Key Benefits:
- Extend Traceability to Lower Tiers: Brands can now record transactions at Tier 2 or Tier 3 without complete Master Data. This enables faster capture of production and outbound information while expanding traceability efforts more efficiently.
- Phased Implementation: Gradually increase traceability levels by enabling Master Data Linking for Production Transactions at desired tiers.
With this feature, you can optimize your supply chain processes by balancing traceability needs with operational efficiency.
