Improvement to Excel Import Error Handling

 

You will be notified of all processed errors one after the other while using excel import for recording transactions. This will provide an improved user experience for you while recording bulk transactions using excel import and encountering errors. The platform will notify you of the errors in the following manner:

 

  • Mandatory missing – When you first upload the bulk data, the system will catch all the mandatory missing fields across all the rows of data and report it in a single shot on an excel error grid dialog with a proper error message & exact highlights for the column respectively.
  • Invalid data validation - Once all mandatory missing errors have been reported and you have corrected the data, then the system will validate the columns in which you added incorrect/invalid data and report it accordingly.
  • Business logic failure (For example, quantity used is higher than the remaining quantity) - Once you have corrected mandatory missing and invalid data errors reported by the system, then the system evaluates the business logic and reports it accordingly.

 

Master data sharing by brands within the platform

 

Brands can now share the Style and Material data with you within the platform for recording transactions. You can download this information as a report and use it as a reference to record transactions.

 

 

You will get notified if there is an update to style & material data. Only information brands will have to share manually with you outside the platform is about the “Finished Goods supplier & facility information”. With this update, you need not wait until the brand shares the master data with you.
